Go into steam -> settings - > controllers -> general controller config -> uncheck all that sh*t - in my case xbox 360 or generic controller - uncheck it all. close out the settings, close steam completely. restart steam. start the game - check if wheel/pedals show up. edit: to be clear, for whatever reason recently the steam settings DO affect
I've been able to use the keyboard + controller option for a few weeks but yesterday after starting the game, I got a pop-up asking if I wanted to use the controller to control the mouse in menus. I accepted and that works fine but now my keyboard and mouse won't work in the game. They work fine if I have keyboard only selected. I then turned off the option to use the controller for the mouse
Probably save up for a T150 if it's possible. It'll provide a much better overall experience. #1. Foxman Sep 1, 2019 @ 1:54pm. Above poster is correct - the T80 has no force feedback and uses a bungie for centering. It's not a particularly good wheel in general (and would be even worse for racing than truck driving).

And the settings are as they was in your old profile folder. Last edited by BCS ; Aug 5, 2014 @ 1:14am. #1. JohnLiem Aug 5, 2014 @ 1:39am.
Hello. No mods. Reproduceable/ongoing. I have lost all vibration/rumble/haptic feedback through my PS5 controller following 1.43 update. Had same issue as others with having to reapply the official controller configuration to get the controller to work in game. That fixed it so the controller works in game, however there is no vibration anymore.
You may have inadvertently given mouse control to the wheel or another attached controller. You can turn that (mouse control) off in Options --> Controls and all the way at the bottom, in the Alternate Mouse Cursor Controller section, hit the RESET button for controller selection. in the options tab I have graphics, sounds, gameplay, keys and
8z06. Check the wheel with it's software in the case of loosen or unplugged cables. Yeah, check functionality in windows game controller panel first. Then driversoftware, then game. My PC tells me that the steering wheel is operating normally. The drivers have been re-downloaded as has the ATS game/program.
3. Update Euro Truck Simulator 2. If you have not updated your Euro Truck Simulator 2 game in a while, make sure to follow the steps below to check for updates and install the latest patch (if available). To do this: Getting started with Euro Truck Simulator 2 on Steam is a piece of cake. First, open the Steam client.
For those who haven't been monitoring the Steam Input support section of ATS here is the solution. Step one: Go to your desktop and hold command+shift+g or click go at the top of your screen. Step two: type in ~/Library/Application Support/American Truck Simulator or ~/Library/Application Support/Euro Truck Simulator 2 (depending on which you
New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Right click on ETS 2 in Steam. Properties > controller > disable Steam input. Then try the controller again. Thanks but it doesn't seem to recognize the controller at all in-game. Hmm. Try the setup wizard again now that you've disabled Steam Input.
for a xbox controller windows have a already built-in software for that, or at the moment you plug it in, it will ask you to install this, do not use any other software or driver, because there is no such thing for xbox controllers, only with aftermarket controllers you will need this, nit with a xbox controller (benz of controllers xD)
